Drawing on advice from more than a dozen animal scientists and industry professionals, the Best Practices Manual is the Certified Angus Beef ^® (CAB ^®) brand’s "how-to" guide to help producers manage Angus genetics to meet consumer demand.

Following the success of the cow-calf Best Practices Manual, CAB created a similar guide for stockers and backgrounders who target the brand. The manuals present guidelines and tips specific to the issues and challenges of the specified beef industry segment.

Each manual is presented in five main sections with science-based recommendations to raise high-quality beef, plus marketing ideas to reap the rewards.
